Hello!! I am mi from Japan. mi is my nickname and also means “my” in Spanish. jajaja(=hahaha)

It’s my first time to write a blog. I would like to share my experiences in thie blog. I will write about my experience in Australia and also I’m willing to write about Japan in English to improve my English skill.

First of all, I’m going to introduce myself below.

こんにちは！miと申します。「mi」はスペイン語で「私の」という意味でもあります。

ブログを書くのは初めてですが、ワーキングホリデーで行ったオーストラリアでの私の経験などの情報を役立つ形で発信できればいいなと考えています。また、英語で日本の情報も発信していこうと考えいています。

下記が私の自己紹介になります。

Who is mi??　miってだれ？

I am 27 years old Japanese female. I was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

I had lived in Hokkaido until when I graduated high school. I love my hometown because there are lots of delicious food and beautiful nature.

My hobby is traveling, snowboarding, fishing, playing tennis and badminton, watching Korean drama, listening to Latin music, and playing the koto (Japanese harp↓) !!

I traveled to many cities in Japan and 15 countries such as Canada, America(twice), Hong Kong, Macao, Korea(three times), Taiwan, Singapore, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Czech, Austria, Philippine, and Australia(1 year). Then I want to go to Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, UK, and Spain from now on!!

I have an old and fat dog whose specie is border collie. I really love my dog♡

 

私は北海道札幌出身の27歳です。高校卒業まで北海道で育ち、大学・就職は東京でした。

上の写真を見ていただければわかるように、自然豊かで美味しい物が絶えない北海道が大好きです。趣味は、旅行、スノーボード、釣り、テニス、バトミントン、韓国ドラマ、ラテンミュージック、琴、と多趣味な方だと思います。常に興味散漫しております。

旅行は本当に好きで、日本縦断から、海外には15か国行きました。国は、カナダ、アメリカ×２、香港、マカオ、韓国×３、台湾、シンガポール、イタリア、ハンガリー、ドイツ、スロバキア、チェコ、オーストリア、フィリピン、そして１年滞在したオーストラリアです。

これから、コロンビア、ブラジル、ペルー、メキシコ、イギリス、スペインには絶対に行きたいですところです。

実家には老犬でおでぶなボーダーコリーがいて、愛しくてしょうがないです。

Mi life until now 今までの人生

I have lived in Hokkaido and Tokyo,Japan, Melbourne and Gold Coast, Australia.

今まで、北海道、東京、メルボルン、ゴールドコーストに住みました。

Peaceful Hokkaido Life　平和な北海道ライフ

I had lived in Hakodate, Date, and Sapporo.

Breakfast was usually fresh fish or ikura with shiny rice! I ate a loooooooot of fresh seafood, meat and so on….because Hokkaido is famous for fresh seafood.

I’m proud of my hometown!

親の転勤などもあり、北海道の函館市、伊達市、札幌市に住みました。

朝ごはんには、イクラご飯が出てくるなんてこともしょっちゅう…!　いつも新鮮な海鮮物や肉などを食べることができました。東京に出てからはより一層、そのような環境で育ったことを誇りに思わせてくれました。

北海道が大好きです。

Busy Tokyo Life　忙しい東京ライフ

University was exciting but,,,　大学は楽しかったけど就活は地獄

I moved to Tokyo when I decided to go to the university.

I had lived in Kichijoji which is famous for various cafe and ramen for long time. I studied history and Korean language in my university.

And then I started to try to find a job when I was a third year university student. It was too hard to find a job which I wanted to get…

I think this changed me a lot. I already decided to quit any job that I found and escape to abroad even though it was before I found a job.haha

東京の大学に行くと決めてからは実家を出て東京暮らしが始まりました。

カフェやラーメンで有名な吉祥寺に長く住み、大学では歴史や韓国語を学んでいました。大学３年から就職活動が始まりましたが希望の職を手に入れるまで相当苦労しました。。

就職活動をしているうちに悟りを開き、どんな仕事についても数年で辞めて外国に逃げようと決めていました。「就職」における考え方が好きじゃなかったんだと思います。

Hard Job hunting　就活地獄

I submitted my resume to many companies (about 100 companies) and then went to the job interview many times(about 50 times).

Finally I passed 4 job interviews but I was exhausted. My weight has been reduced to 39 kg. Actually we sometimes lied to them because we wanted to get a good job and also they lied to us because they wanted us to know they are like a nice companies . I really didn’t like this system.

Finally, I determined to join the major Japanese travel agency.

自分が欲張りだったのもあり、就活は地獄でした。100社近い会社にエントリーしたり履歴書を出し、面接に50社近く臨んだと思います。

最終的に４社から内々定をもらい、そのうちの１つに決めましたが完全に疲れ切り、一時期の体重は39キロまで落ちました。就活の中で、実際会社も学生も自分をよく見せようと嘘をついたりかなり誇張してアピールしたりします。真実の見えないこの就活のシステムが私は好きではありませんでした。

そして私が最終的に就職を決めたのが、大手の旅行会社でした。

Working at the travel agency　旅行会社

After graduation, I started to work there. I love traveling, that’s why I chose this company. I wanted to help those who wants to travel.

It was too hard to work for me as I heard that travel agency is a hard job.

I usually overworked for long time and I was tired…

I had to take a train when I go there and go back to my home, but the train was always full and there are too many people on the road( ﾉД`)

大学卒業後、旅行会社で働き始めました。旅行会社に決めた理由は、単純に自分自身が旅行が大好きだからです。旅行者をサポートすることを仕事にできればやりがいを感じることができると思いました。

旅行会社に入って自分の好きなことを仕事にできたことで興味が尽きることはなかったし、やりがいはたしかに感じました。渡航や観光について知識を得ることができたことも大きいです。しかし、旅行会社は激務薄給で知られていますが、まさにその通り、仕事が大変で責任が多大な割に給料は並という感じでした。

毎日毎日残業に加え、通勤の満員電車や人混みにすっかり疲れ切ってしまいました。

Amazing Australia Life　最高のオーストラリアライフ

OK!!!! It’s time to escape from my busy life!!!

I determined to quit my job in the fourth year. I decided to go to Australia with a working holiday visa.

I had stayed in Melbourne for 8 months and Gold Coast for 4 months. I traveled around Australia too.

This one year was the most exciting time I have ever experienced…I had no choice but to go there. I believe it was a correct choice. This experience and friends from various countries in Australia are my asset.

疲れすぎたのでオーストラリアに逃げます。これは就活時の私の予感に的中です。旅行会社４年目で仕事を辞め、ワーキングホリデービザを使い１年オーストラリアい滞在することを決めました。

メルボルンに８か月、ゴールドコーストに４か月住み、日本帰国前には韓国人の友達と様々な都市を周遊しました。この一年は私の人生において最も濃く、素晴らしい時間となりました。

オーストラリアに来ないという選択肢はなかったと思います。ここで得た「経験」と「友達」は私の資産です。

Why did I start writing this blog?? なぜブログを始めたか？

✓　I wanted to begin something new and exciting for me, also make something which can be my asset.

✓　I would love to share my experiences.

✓　I like writing on my own.

✓　I want many people know about Japan.

✓　I have to improve my English skill.

These are reasons why I started writing this blog.

About language　言語について

I’m studying English and a little bit Korean and Spanish.

I want to share my blog with many people not only Japanese, so I will use English as possible as I can.
