We can eat Korean food in Shinokubo, Tokyo. There are a lots of Korean food restaurants in Shinokubo. I have been to many restaurants there, then I will introduce 7 restaurants and 1 super market that I recommend.
I really love Korean food and culture!! When I had learned Korean language at Shinokubo once a week, I ate Korean food before or after the Korean school.
コリアンタウンといえば東京の新大久保ですね。たくさんの韓国料理店が並んでいます。私は、以前に韓国語を新大久保で習っていたことがあったのですが、授業前または授業後に毎回韓国料理を食べてました！たくさんのレストランの中からおすすめの韓国料理店７つと韓国の食材を買うことができるおすすめのスーパー１つを紹介していきます。
Where is Korean Town?? コリアンタウンはどこにある？
Korean Town Shinokubo is in Tokyo, next to Shinjuku. Take a train to Yamanote line Shinokubo station or Sobu line Okubo station, then you can reach Korean town Shinokubo by walk.
There are a lot of Korean restaurants, cafes, cosmetic shops, and Korean idol shops. In line with the trend, restaurants’ menu and idols change.
In Korean restaurants, we can eat small dishes, such as Kimch, which are served before the main dish, as much as we want. I like this system. I always ask for refill.
新大久保のコリアンタウンは、JR山手線新大久保駅、またはJR総武線大久保駅から歩いていくことができます。そこにはたくさんの韓国料理店、カフェ、コスメ店、アイドルショップなどが立ち並びます。流行に沿ってレストランでは新しいメニューがでたり、アイドルショップではその時に人気のアイドルのグッズが売られます。
韓国料理店では小さなお皿に盛られたキムチなどの数種類のおかずが注文の前に運ばれてきて、それは好きなだけおかわりすることができます。私は欲張ってだいたいいつもおかわります。
Tonchan Plus とんちゃんプラス
Tonchan is very famous Korean restaurants and I really like this restaurant. Actually, there are some Tonchan in Shinokubo, but I think Tonchan Plus is the best, because its inside is big and clean. And there are many various of menus. Samgyeopsal, Korean barbecue, is the sigunature menu. There are also hot pots, Korean pancakes, and so on. I ordered Samgyeopsal, Beef spicy hot pot , Toppokki, which is Korean stewed rice-cake, and drinks for three people. It costs just 2,200 JPY per person. Cheap!
とんちゃんは私のお気に入りであり、はずれのないレストランです！とんちゃんは新大久保に何店舗かありますが、とんちゃんプラスはお店が大きくて綺麗なので好きです。他の店舗は居酒屋のような雰囲気になりますがプラスは席数も多く、落ち着いた清潔感のある店舗です。メニューもたくさんあってどれも美味しいです。サムギョプサルが代表的なメニューになりますが、他にも鍋やチヂミなどのメニューが豊富です。3人で、サムギョプサル、ユッケジャン、トッポギ、飲み物を頼みましたが、一人2,200円ですみました！安いです。
TOMATO トマト
Tomato has also lots of seats. They serve Korean food like Korean home cooking. There are many kinds of food, I always cannot choose one of them. They have all-you-can-eat and drink menu. When I cannot decide restaurant I go, I usually go to Tomato, because there are lots of seats and food.
トマトも座席数の多いレストランで混んでいても待ったことはまだありません。ここもサムギョプサルを推していますが、メニューがとても豊富な韓国家庭料理のお店です。食べ放題や飲み放題のメニューもあります。新大久保に行って入る店を決められない時は、席数もメニューも多いトマトにします。
Shijan Takkalbi 市場タッカルビ
When it comes to Takkarubi, which is broiled chicken with vegetables, I think Shijan Takkalbi is the best restaurant. Cheese Takkalbi is originated here. There is usually a long que in front of this restaurant. When you want to eat Takkarlbi, I recommend to go to this restaurant. We cannnot book the seat in advance, we have to wait for admission. It’s better to go there except lunch time and dinner time.
タッカルビといえばチーズタッカルビ発祥の市場タッカルビです。お店の前にはいつも列ができていて、事前予約ができないため、入るには待つしかありません（泣）ただ、お昼時や夕食時をはずすと列は短い傾向にあります。
Myondon Norimaki 明洞のり巻
Myondon Norimaki’s sigunature menu is Norimaki(=Japanese)/Kimpap(=Korean), which is Korean style rice roll with seaweed. They have also other food. Standard Norimaki costs just 500 JPY. This is cheap and healty. The size of restaurant is not really big, sometimes we have to wait for admission.
明洞のり巻はその名の通りのり巻きのお店です。のり巻き以外のメニューもありますが代表メニューは様々な種類ののり巻きです。スタンダードなのり巻きが500円からなので小腹が空いた時にちらっと寄って食べていくのもありですね。お店はそこまで大きくないのでしばしば並んでいるのを見かけます。
Pungum プングム
プングムはコリアンタウンのど真ん中にあってわかりやすいと思います。ここもメニューが豊富で食べたいものがなんでも見つかるでしょう。私はここでは何度もユッケジャンを頼んで病みつきになっていました。チーズタッカルビやUFOチキンも有名です。
Delika Ondol でりかおんどる
Delika Ondol is also popular restaurant. There is usually a que in front of this restaurant. I think hot pot is delicious in this restaurant. They have cheese Takkalbi, UFO chicken, Samyeopsal, and hot pot and so on.
でりかおんどるも人気レストランのひとつです。入るまでに並んでいるのをよく見ます。数回行きましたが、ここの鍋は毎回美味しいなと思います。最近はチーズタッカルビ、UFOチキン、サムギョプサルなどほとんどなんでもあるようです。
